Dierks Bentley Townhall Meeting Recap

Dierks Bentley is one cool guy! Every so often he holds “townhall meetings” which are live online chats with the members of his fan club. How cool is that? He LOVES his fans.

He held one last night and here’s some main points that he mentioned:

-Dierks is currently working on a new album! He is playing around with titles and the one he likes right now is “Living For What Is.”

-He is touring with Brad Paisley in the spring and is planning on headlining his own tour later in 2009.

-Dierks also mentioned that he is launching a BRAND NEW website NEXT Wednesday!

I “attended” the meeting & thought it was pretty lame. Sadly Dierks performed like a puppet on a string & the questions asked were the same old stuff. Very curious what the new site will be like.

I agree with anon. Seems a lot like Dierks has “sold out” and he did not seem like his normal, genuine self. Too bad – that’s most of what I like about him. Hopefully he takes this time off to “find himelf” again..

I disagree!! I thought the town hall was great. He does have a lot on his mind right now with just becoming a father and trying to get this album finished. How can you blame him for not seeming normal? Maybe his mind was on his new little girl and I think that is very normal and genuine.
