Yesterday it was announced that Gretchen Wilson was canceling three shows at which Keith Anderson was set to open for her. We had a concerned fan write us to see if everything was ok with Keith and the good news is that Keith & Gretchen are both doing fine – ticket sales however, are not.
Rob Green, a promoter with ELLI LIVE, said that tickets to Gretchen’s shows are not a popular item right now. He says “I am not going to sugar coat anything. I had two other dates with her and it just wasn’t selling. I am not going to throw a party for people. It’s got to be cost effective.”
Well that totally stinks for Keith fans – but based on our own personal experiences with Gretchen, perhaps if she treated her fans a little better, she’d still have people willing to buy her tickets!! Just sayin’…

I totally agree with the comment about if she treated her fans a little better. Gretchen is one of the rudest people I have ever met. I sometimes enjoy her music but would never spend my hard earned money to see her in concert.
