Country Babies of 2008

In an effort to recap some great country moments of 2008, we’ve tried coming up with a list of new country babies that were born this year. Country music had some great new additions…

Harleigh Alexyia Tomlinson was born 5 weeks premature on January 14th to Trent Tomlinson & his then fiance (now his wife,) Jessica.

Luke Bryan and his wife, Caroline, welcomed their first child, Thomas Boyer Bryan on March 18th in Nashville. Thomas is actually Luke’s first name as well, but the younger Bryan goes by the nickname of “Bo.”

Darryl Worley and his wife, Kimberly, welcomed their first child together on March 24th when Savannah Gail was born.

Rascal Flatts member, Joe Don Rooney & his wife Tiffany became the proud parents of Jagger Donovan on May 31st.

Sunday Rose Kidman Urban was born on July 7th in Nashville to first-time dad, Keith Urban and his wife, Nicole Kidman.

Martie Maguire of the Dixie Chicks welcomed her third child on July 25th with her husband, Gareth. Harper Rosie joins big sisters Kathleen & Eva, pictured above.

Clay Walker and his wife, Jessica, welcomed his third child (her first) on August 5th when William Clayton Walker was born three weeks premature in Houston, TX.

Carolyn Dawn Johnson and her husband, Matt Fisher, welcomed their first child, Abigail Grace on September 16th. Speaking of the new arrival, Carolyn said “we are in love!”

“The most beautiful baby you have ever seen” according to her proud dad, Evalyn “Evie” Day Bentley was born on October 4th to Dierks & Cassidy Bentley.

Isabella Sophia Gracin was born on November 12th to Ann Marie and Josh Gracin. Isabella joins older sisters, Briana & Gabriella, and older brother, Landon, in the Gracin household.
