It seems like Nikki has a great time at every country concert she goes to! This time, she took in a Lady Antebellum show and was nice enough to bring back a review for us with some pictures! Thanks Nikki!
I am one of the biggest Lady A fans and when I found out they were coming back to FL I was so happy! I ordered my tickets online and got 9th row! Not bad. Anyways my friends and I drove the 3 hour drive to West Palm Beach for the South Florida fair. We walked around for about 30 mins trying to find the Pepsi Stage. We got there finally and took our seats 30 mins before showtime. I had made shirts and posters for this show which made the experience that much better.
Finally 7pm comes and Lady A takes the stage. They opened with “Slow Down Sister” and got the crowd on their feet…well…no…but the crowd still loved them. They played every song off of their album and a few covers including “Free Fallin’,” “Shook Me All Night Long,” “Hard To Handle,” and a song by the Eagles. I got in trouble for taking video which really didnt make sense because it was a fair. Oh well I still got a few videos and some audio! They did an amazing job and told everyone to get on their feet so my friends and I ran to the front of the stage during “Lookin’ For A Good Time.”
There was this cute little old couple in front of us and they were dancing and it was the cutest thing ever. Then Dave threw his guitar pick at me and I caught it. I was so happy. Charles was throwing his water bottle caps out to the crowd..hmmm… Anyways their 75 min set was over way too quickly and it was sad. Wish they played longer. We took our spot to meet them in line. But before they came out my friends spotted Slim and Dennis from the band so we quickly ran over and got pictures with them!
Right behind us in line was this girl who actually went to high school with Hillary which was really cool. She told us about the song “I Was Here” and how she sang it at the high school graduation! Anyways I had them sign the Grammy cd and Charles didnt even know it was out in stores yet. All 3 of them got some gifts from me. Charles some tea and honey. Dave got sour patch kids…he said he needed a refill anyways! And Hillary got this little miss magent since she has a shirt that says Little Miss Sunshine. After we were determined to find them and hopefully get some pictures. We walked around and found the bus and saw Charles standing outside. We yelled his name before he got back on the bus and he said he would be right there. He came over and gave us a hug. I told him that I love his tattoo and he said Thank You. He said the Dave and Hillary were already sleeping away and couldnt come out. But it was really cool that he took pictures with us!
What a way to end the night. A Lady A fair show is never complete without a little run in with the cops. The first Lady A fair show I went to on the way home 3 of my tires blew on the highway and this one I got pulled over for speeding. My next shirt for them will say A Lady A show is nothing without a run in with the cops! Good times. I took video of “Slow Down Sister,” “All We’d Ever Need,” “Free Fallin’,” and “One Day You Will.” Check it out at youtube.com/only1nickster.

Yesterday we brought you the news of Taylor Swift‘s first headlining tour, with supporting acts Kellie Pickler and Gloriana. Obviously Taylor is excited, but what about Kellie? Of course, she’s just as excited! She says “It’s always fun to be on tour and be with the fans, and to be out with Taylor, who is like a sister to me, is really awesome. We wrote my current single, ‘Best Days of Your Life,’ on tour together last year, and I’m sure we’re going to write on the road together this year, too. So guys: you’ve been warned. Don’t make us mad, because you might just hear about it on the radio!”
Tickets for the “Fearless” tour will start at just $20 in most markets.
