One of our readers contacted us about a new group called Love and Theft. We thought the name sounded a bit familiar and after doing some research we know why…Remember the story behind Taylor Swift’s “Hey Stephen”? Well, they guy the song is about is Stephen Barker Liles and he is in the group Love and Theft.
They guys opened a few of Taylor’s shows last year and now they are on a nationwide country radio tour.
To us, their music doesn’t sound all that country (it’s a mix between country, rock, & pop) but it’s good music and that’s what matters, right? They sound great together- the harmonies in the song “Dancin In Cirles” are amazing and we are digging “Can’t Go Back” (it’s more country sounding).
Anyway, they are finishing up their radio tour within the next few weeks and we definitely think you should check them out & let us know what you think.
