Is Chuck really that oblivious to how this is making him look? Many are seeing it as speaking to his character alright, and not in a good way. I don’t think this is the right time for him to be doing DWTS. If he were paired with someone other than Julianne I might consider it differently, but this is just all kinds of wrong.

That 3rd audio clip was just what everyone needs to hear coming from him. I don’t think anyone is realizing that this CAN help him musically as well. They have already mentioned “Man of the House” in the bio on ABC, so while everyone is posting stuff about “Vote for Julianne & Chuck” you can also add in there, “Request “Man of the House”…I think its def. gonna help him in the long run of things. :)

I’m a Chuck Wicks fan…and also a fan of Julianne’s….in fact I became a fan of hers the very first time she was on DWTS. I’m proud of Chuck’s decision to take on something new, and it WILL open him up to a whole new audience. I’m not going to be a “fair weather fan” so to speak and NOT support his decisions. I hope he does well and takes it to the end! :)

I think it’s awesome that he’s willing to try something new! I’ll definitely be supporting him every step of the way. I think this will introduce Chuck to millions of people who have NO clue who he is & hopefully they’ll take the time to check out his music! I think they’ll do great together & I can’t wait to see how it works out. I’m a fan of them both & I’ll definitely be voting!!!

I’m seeing a lot of negativity being put out there towards Chuck. I don’t know how that’s exactly going to help him at this stage of his career. Sadly, I’m starting to agree with some of what’s being said. He and Julianne seem more interested in publicity at any cost. If Chuck wanted to bring more attention to his music I’m sure it could have been worked out for him to be a musical guest on Dancing With The Stars. Some don’t want to see it, but he has changed. I can tell you there are quite a few who share this sentiment but don’t want to admit to it knowing some will call them out as being ”fair weather fans.” To me, seeing someone without rose colored glasses and being willing to call them out when you don’t agree but still sticking with them is the definition of a true fan.

I agree with you, Melanie. I’m tired of being called a “fair weather fan” just because I don’t support this decision Chuck is making. As fans, we have a right to have our own opinions of the whole situation, and I surely don’t need anyone telling me I’m not a fan. I’ve been a fan of his for a lot longer than others, and will always be a fan! I LOVE his music! Does that mean I have to support every single decision he makes?! Nope! & I’m pretty sure all the “fans” that say he hasn’t changed at all are the ones who became fans/met him while he’s been dating Julianne. Every single fan I know that met him before him and Julianne started dating can tell he has changed.

Chuck and Julianne did a radio interview from Mexico the other day. They were there for a radio promo show. They talked some about Dancing With The Stars. It was more like Julianne mainly talked. Chuck didn’t get much of a word in edgewise. She made it pretty much all about her. She really is into promoting herself isn’t she?
