On Friday, October 2, Nasvhille’s Grand Ole Opry will join the fight against breast cancer by “going pink” during both performances that night. Carrie Underwood will be on hand to “flip the switch” which will turn the signature Opry backdrop pink in support of the groups Women Rock for the Cure and Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. Carrie will also perform during both shows as well as Terri Clark and other artists yet to be announced. In addition to the performances, the Opry will include special activities recognizing breast cancer survivors and the continuing fight against the disease.
Tickets for the shows are on sale now via their website or by calling 1-800-SEE-OPRY. When you order tickets, mention the code “OPRYPINK” and $5 of your ticket price will be donated to Women Rock for the Cure and the Greater Nashville affiliate of Susan G. Komen For The Cure.
