One of our readers recently took in a Jake Owen show in Nashville and she sent along some photos and a recap of the night to share with you…
Jake put on an amazing how as always. His new single “8 Second Ride” is filled with energy and it is a fun song to watch him perform. He sang songs from the new album like “Don’t Think I Can’t Love You” as well as old favorites like “Startin’ with Me” and “YeeHaw” Josh Thompson opened the show, and he was pretty good…kept the crowd entertained, upbeat and ready for Jake! He wrote “Growing Up is Getting Old” off Jason Michael Carrol’s new CD, and it is a great song! Half the proceeds from the concert went to benefit the needy. Thanks to WSIX, Tin Roof, Miller Lite, Nashville Lifestyles and others for hosting the show!!
Thanks so much for sharing your concert with us – we’re glad you enjoyed the show!

I just wanted to let Jake know that he is one of the nicest entertainers I have ever seen. I live in Burley Idaho and it is a very small town….some entertainers make fun of our little town but Jake was so kind and sincere. I loved his concert from start to finish! Best of luck to you in your career Jake and come back to our little corner of the world again!
