John Mayer’s New Album To Feature Duet With Taylor Swift

Back in March, John Mayer tweeted about wanting to record a duet with teen sensation Taylor Swift. Fans will be happy to know that they did in fact record a song together.

Mayer is set to release a new album titled Battle Studies later this fall. The album will feature a duet with Swift called, “Half Of My Heart.”

Mayer says the new album is very different from his last release. ”Where Continuum was R&B and Soul, Battle Studies was written with the timelessness of Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac and Neil Young in mind. The melodies and message are concise and from-the-gut with the efficiency of simplicity.”

Battle Studies will be released on November 17.

taylor swift is not on john mayers album anymore, i heard the song they were supposed to record together and the final version didnt have taylor on it, sony who sends my cds and john cds to stores told me so.
