When you think of Julianne Hough, there’s no doubt that she has many keys to her success.  Not only is she an amazing dancer, she’s also proved her skills in the world of country music and is about to embark on a movie career as well.  Needless to say, her busy career keeps her at the center of media attention across the country.

Taylor Swift is receiving harsh criticism after the above photo was leaked on the internet yesterday, featuring Swift posing with a young man with a swastika on his shirt.  The photo was taken at Katy Perry’s birthday bash last week, where the guests all arrived wearing white, but left much more decorated after they were encouraged to have fun with some paint.  A representative for Taylor released the following statement…

“Taylor took pictures with about 100 people that night.  She doesn’t know who this guy is and she didn’t realise what was on his shirt.”

The young man, identified by TMZ as AJ English, clarified the incident by saying that the symbol on his shirt started out as an “X” but got more “perverted” as the night went on.  He says that he’s not a racist and is sorry that Taylor has been dragged into this.

With the press coverage surrounding his new album, Joe Nichols has begun opening up about his struggles with addiction.  In this video below, Joe directly addresses alcohol as his biggest demon for the first time publicly that we’re aware of.   It’s a very real and raw admission from Joe about how he finally came to grips with his battle and sought help.

We commend Joe for speaking publicly about something so personal… we’re sure that so many people will find comfort in Joe’s strength and new music.
