Randy Houser is up for TWO awards at tonight’s 43rd Annual CMA Awards. He faces the Zac Brown Band, Darius Rucker, Jamey Johnson and Jake Owen in the Top New Artist category and he’s also up against Taylor Swift, Billy Currington, Brad Paisley/Keith Urban, and George Strait for Music Video of the Year. Here’s what he had to say when asked about his chances of winning….

“I think my chances are somewhere right between slim and none,” Houser jokes. “I’m just a new guy. The fact that I got nominated was just a recognition of things that may come in the next couple of years. I think about all the years I spent sitting on the couch watching those awards and wishing I could just go to them one year and here I am being nominated for two categories.”

Gotta love Randy Houser! We’re totally rooting for him tonight and we think he’s got a good shot at winning Music Video of the Year!
