Luke Bryan‘s current single “Do I” is making its way up the charts and could very likely be on track to becoming Luke’s very first No.1 hit! This week, the song reached No. 3 on on the Mediabase country charts.
It’s no surprise to us that this song is close to being a chart-topper…A lot of star power went in to the making of it. Luke wrote the song along with Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood from Lady Antebellum….Plus, Hillary Scott of Lady A sings the song’s the back-up vocals.
“When we wrote it we thought it was single, but I don’t think we ever thought our songs would be at No. 2 and No. 3,” Bryan told The Tennessean. “But it feels great. I don’t go into singles thinking, ‘Oh we’re going to get a No. 1,’ but to be right there is very exciting for me.”
Luke also revealed to The Tennessean that he and his wife Caroline are thinking about trying for a second child.
“We want a big ol’ family,” says the singer, “and big Christmases and big Thanksgivings.”
We sure wish him luck on his first No.1 single! We absolutely LOVE “Do I!”
