Carrie Underwood Honored In Nashville

Carrie Underwood was honored in Nashville this past Saturday night at the Nashville Symphony Ball as their 2009 Harmony Award recipient. The award is given to those who have demonstrated continued interest and support of music in the Nashville community.

“The honor is a wonderful compliment and it’s an amazing feeling being part of the Nashville community,” said Underwood. “It was a beautiful evening filled with wonderful music, gorgeous ball gowns and décor, and was definitely an evening to remember.”

Previous recipients of the award include LeAnn Rimes, Martina McBride, Dolly Parton, Trisha Yearwood and Rascal Flatts.
