THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED.
Congratulations to our two winners:
LeAnn Rimes stars in a brand new movie titled Good Intentions, which is available on DVD today.
“I felt emotionally I could really dig my teeth into this and show what I could do,” says Rimes.
“I've been wanting to act, she adds, “It’s just been finding the right thing. And Good Intentions was the right thing at the right time. It was the right script.”
Rimes has two songs in the film, including her Grammy-nominated “Nothin' Better to Do” and the title track from her album “Family”.
To celebrate the film’s release, we are giving away copies of the DVD! To enter for your chance to win, send us an e-mail to contactus@countrymusicislove.com with the subject line, “Good Intentions.” We’ll randomly select the winners later on Saturday….Good luck!
About the movie:
Meet Etta Milford. Loving Wife. Doting Mother. Armed Robber. When Etta's husband blows their nest-egg on ill-conceived inventions, she secretly decides to take “investment” matters into her own hands and things quickly go awry. With their savings gone, her husband suspicious, and their children out of control, Etta concocts a scheme of unexpected proportion to get back their money and save her family. There are just a few things she has to do first, including blackmailing the sheriff and holding up the grocery store before little league practice.

I would love to win this dvd. The first time I saw LeeAnn. She was just starting out Feb 8, 1998. I was 12. My birthday present from my mom & uncle. They were both going to go with me. Sadly my uncle Larry had a stroke to the brain stim 5 days after my birthday (january 24) was in ICU. He never recovered and died 2 days after the concert :( I remember it like it was yesterday. She was playing with Bryan White! My favorites at the time. I was so excited to see them :) I even played “ten thousand angles cried” at my uncles funeral by LeeAnn.

My daughter went to see LeeAnn for her 12th birthday. My brother and I were going to go with her. It ended up just being me that went with her. My brother one of 7 kids had a stroke on january 29th, 1998. Shortly after my daughters 12th birthday. It was bad. He never got to make it to the concert. He was in ICU for 13 days never recovered. I had to do all I could to make her go to the concert & leave his side. She was torn apart. She went though and needless to say cried most of the concert. I couldn’t blame her. LeeAnn was her favorite singer at the time & the opening act was bryan white. If I won this dvd it’d make her day. She even found out LeeAnn had a cd out with gospel singing on it. She bought it with her birthday money. She asked me could I have them play at my brothers funeral “ten thousand angels cried”. I did just that. She said least he heard her before he left me momma. LeeAnn helped her get through the hard times. I still catch her listening to that cd from time to time. She is 24 now. She said when times get though I know I can rely on this cd to let me know every thing is going to be ok. I really wish I could thank LeeAnn for making tough times better for all of us. Maybe she will tour again one day close enough for us to go see. Until then we will listen to her cds :)
