Find How Taylor Swift Found Her On-Screen Groom

Earlier this month, Taylor Swift shot a new music video for her brand new single, “Mine” which will hit country radio mid- August. Swift recently revealed how she found her love interest, Los Angeles base actor Toby Hemingway, for the video to People Magazine.

“I saw Feast of Love and just loved that movie and thought Toby was so great that I thought it would be perfect to put him in the video,” Swift tells People.

She had a very scientific way of knowing he was “the one” for the video…

“I was doing some more research and watched another movie he was in called The Covenant,” she says. “I’ve got this crazy 13 lucky thing, and he walks on screen for the first time wearing a sweatshirt with a 13 on it! That was the deciding factor. It wasn’t really up to me, it was about the number.”

Since shooting the video, Swift and Hemingway were spotted out and about together when she was in L.A. to record a track with an orchestra for her new album. TheHollywoodGossip.com is reporting that they have more than just an on-screen romance, but that’s just a RUMOR.

So what was is like for Taylor to get “married” on screen?

“[It] was a little strange,” Swift told People. “I get to wear big dresses and wear white all the time on the carpet, but there’s nothing quite like actually pretending you’re getting married.”
