Taylor Swift To Release Third Album October 25th

Taylor Swift announced today (via live video chat) that she will release her third album titled, Speak Now, on October 25, 2010. The album will feature 14 brand new tracks, ALL of which Swift wrote BY HERSELF (no co-writers).

Swift will release “Mine,” the first single from the highly anticipated album, on August 16. The video for “Mine” was shot in Portland, Maine earlier this month. Click HERE to view photos from the video shoot.

“It’s a song that is about my tendency to run from love,” Swift says of the song.

She also announced that the song “Sparks Fly” will also be included on the album. “Sparks Fly” is a song that Swift wrote and played once or twice live at a concert and became a fan favorite.
