Darius Rucker was in New York City earlier this week where he performed at the latest installment of GRAMMY Artists Revealed. The intimate show featured Darius performing both his solo songs and hits from his time with Hootie & The Blowfish, days that he admits are probably not over.
“We’ll always be together,” Rucker told CBSNews.com of the band. “I don’t think we’ll ever break up totally. We’re Hootie & the Blowfish … We’ll make another record and do another tour someday. I don’t know when, but it will happen. There’s one more in us.”
For now though, Darius’ focus remains on his solo country career which he plans to add another album to in the coming months.
“We’ll start recording in January,” he revealed. “It will be out early next year.”
