Billy Ray Cyrus to Write Memoir

Singer-turned-actor Billy Ray Cyrus will soon be able to add ‘author’ to his resume. The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer, and father of pop culture sensation Miley Cyrus, has struck a deal with Amazon to write a memoir. In the memoir, Cyrus is expected to openly discuss his life, including his daughter Miley.

“This is my chance to set the record straight,” he says. “I’m going to lay out the facts starting from Aug. 25, 1961 and work my way to the present, even if it stings a little.”

The book, titled Hillbilly Heart, is expected in the spring of 2013.
