Rascal Flatts has already secured their place in the music industry, and now they’re branching out – in a big way.
The trio recently revealed plans for a documentary, a restaurant, and even a fragrance.
Jay DeMarcus, who’s still reeling from news of his own – he and his wife are expecting their second child this summer – reveals this on his Twitter: “More details to come soon on the Flatts movie. Def more of a performance/doc style with more of our individual stories intertwined.”
DeMarcus isn’t the only one dishing details about the trio’s upcoming plans.
“We started working on a fragrance about two years ago, and we went through a couple different companies. We just couldn’t lock down on a scent that the three of us had liked,” Gary LeVox tells WZZK. “We’re actually in the process right now of putting it together.”
“But the scent of Gary LeVox will be out soon,” he adds with a laugh.
They’re also planning to open a restaurant in Columbus, Ohio, with the chef from Maestro’s Steakhouse. “We’re going to have writers’ nights in there. It’ll be based around music,” he says.
If that’s not enough Rascal Flatts for you, you can still catch them on their “Thaw Out” tour with Sara Evans and Hunter Hayes this month and on the “American Band Tour” with Little Big Town, Eli Young Band and Edens Edge this summer. In addition, the trio’s new album Changed hits stores April 3.
