Carrie Underwood is the cover girl for the new issue of WebMD. Inside the issue, the country beauty talks about eating healthy, especially while she’s out on the road. “It would be very easy to just go eat that [fast food] all the time. But if I don’t know what’s in it, I don’t eat it. That’s my rule,” Carrie told the magazine.
When it comes to her food, Carrie still likes to do all of her own grocery shopping. “It’s a very human thing to do, and that’s why I love it so much. When you’re out on the road, people see you as a performer — not necessarily as a human being, first and foremost. So it’s really nice to go and do things that … people do! I always hear, ‘You shop yourself?’ I would hate to see the day when someone else had to buy my groceries for me,” she said.
To help stay in shape, Carrie said that a good cardio session is a must. “If I can wake up and I go get a good cardio session in,” she revealed, “a class at a gym nearby, or me on the treadmill, I’m happier throughout the day.”
You can catch Carrie back out on the road – and maybe at your local grocery store – as her “Play On” tour continues through the fall.

Carrie Underwood revealed to The Boot that she’s considering an acoustic tour for 2011. Although she loves entertaining crowds with a high-energy tour, bringing it back to the basics is something she’s looking forward to as well.
“I might follow [the September tour] next year with an acoustic tour. That would be just about my favorite thing,” Carrie says. “There’s so many moments in the show right now that I absolutely love, [and] I’ve never done before. They’re so exciting because they’re so new for me, but my love is singing, and I could stand in front of a microphone and just do that all day long and be so happy with that,” she adds.
Meanwhile, for the remainder of this year’s “Play On” tour, Carrie will hit the road with Sons of Sylvia and Billy Currington.

Mike Fisher opened up to his hometown newspaper, giving the Ottawa Sun his first interview since marrying Carrie Underwood on July 10.
Mike, who is now back in Ottawa without his bride, couldn’t be happier! He gave new details of the wedding weekend, saying that the couple hosted a “mix and mingle” on the eve of their wedding, followed by a golf tournament the next morning. About 60-70 guests participated in the tournament, while Mike played 2/3 of the course. “I didn’t play 18 because I knew I’d be too tired,” he said. “It was a long day. I needed to go relax a bit.”
The wedding itself was great, even if the details are a bit hazy for Mike now. “I wasn’t really nervous, to be honest. I was excited to be married. I think more people were definitely watching her… The whole weekend is almost like a blur. The ceremony was really nice, the pastor did a great job, the reception was a lot of fun. Just to have everyone close to us around was a big deal. A wedding’s not nearly as much fun without those close family and friends with you,” he said.
As for the honeymoon, the couple enjoyed 8 days in Bora Bora, with an additional 3 days at the end of their honeymoon spent in the Napa Valley. “We had an awesome time,” he said. “It was the longest time she’s had off in the last five years. That was probably the longest time I’ve ever been away, too. We had so much fun.”
As for what the future holds for the couple, Mike says that there will definitely be a family, but that’s still years away. While Carrie continues her busy career in Nashville, Mike’s still at the peak of his hockey career playing in Ottawa. ”When I’m done hockey, she’ll still be working. I’m sure she can always work. We’ll settle in Nashville. I love it there. I’ve got lots of friends there now, I love the area. I like a lot of things about it. There’s a nice church that we love, that we go to … that being said, it’s a little ways away. I want to obviously play a few years, a bunch of years here yet… She likes it here. I’ve been here for so long, she would never want her to be the reason I leave here, because I like it so much. Obviously, family is going to be important decision. But it’s not like I can’t wait to go there. I really want to stay here and finish my career. That’s what she really wants, too.”
But for now, the happy newlyweds are enjoying their new marriage. “It’s awesome,” he said. “I’m with my best friend and I love her to death. There’s nothing better, for sure.”

Carrie Underwood scores her 13th #1 single today with “Undo It,” the third consecutive chart-topping smash from her Platinum-certified Play On album. The song is one of seven tracks co-written by Underwood for Play On, and it becomes the sixth #1 of her career that she has co-written.
Already, “Undo It” has this month earned RIAA certification as a Gold Digital Single, joining Play On’s first two hits, “Temporary Home,” certified Gold in June, and “Cowboy Casanova,” which was certified as a Platinum Digital Single earlier this year.
Coinciding with the July certification of “Undo It,” another Underwood blockbuster, “Before He Cheats,” has been RIAA certified as a Triple-Platinum Digital Single. In all, Underwood has now amassed a dozen Gold, Platinum, or multi-Platinum digital singles.
“Undo It” has also become a hit video, remaining at #1 on both the CMT Top 20 Countdown and the fan-voted GAC Top 20 Country Countdown programs for the past five weeks.
The only American Idol winner ever to achieve 13 #1 hits, Underwood’s run of chart-toppers began with the instant success of her post-American Idol single, “Inside Your Heaven,” which debuted atop Billboard’s Hot 100 chart in the summer of 2005.
