Ashley Ray is set to release a 5 song EP on May 4. The EP will feature her current single, “Dirt Cheap,” which features Mike Eli from the Eli Young Band as well as 4 additional tracks.

Ray, a dedicated songwriter and performer, has been honing her craft on the road opening for Jason Aldean, Randy Rogers Band, Willie Nelson, Wade Bowen and Cross Canadian Ragweed to name a few. She spent the better part of this past year touring with Eric Church opening shows for his Young & Wild Tour.

Ashley Ray kicks off the Country Throwdown Tour in Tampa on May 14; the festival style tour features over 10 artists including headliners Montgomery Gentry and Jamey Johnson.

Fans can now log on to voteacm.com to cast their vote for the ACM New Artist categories. Voting went live this morning at 9am and will close on Friday, March 12.

The winner in each category will be announced in mid-March and will move on to compete for Top New Artist. Voting for the Top New Artist category will begin at VoteACM.com on Thursday, April 1, and will close on April 18, with the winner being announced live during the 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards broadcast on CBS.
