Carrie Underwood Makes 10-Year-Old Cancer Survivor’s Wish Come True

Carrie Underwood‘s performance at the sixth annual Bi-Mart Willamette Country Music Festival in Oregon on Friday featured a very special guest.

The superstar invited 10-year-old Kaitlyn Finn to join her on stage to sing “All American Girl” during her set. Finn, who attended the show as part of a Make a Wish Foundation experience, was diagnosed with liver cancer at the age of 3. According to the Albany Democrat-Herold, Finn received a transplant and is now in remission.

“I like to sing and Carrie Underwood is one of my favorite singers,” Kaitlyn told the newspaper prior to the show. While she admitted to being nervous she also said she was “excited” before taking the stage with Underwood.

“That was professional right there. If I was her and I was walking out here at her age in front of this crowd, woah, I probably would’ve just stood there,” Carrie told the audience after their duet. “That was very impressive.”
