Miranda Lambert Visits Animal Sheltor, Adopts Puppy and Fulfills 6-Year-Old’s Wish
Miranda Lambert took some time to do a few good deeds while in Florida for her concert in West Palm Beach over the weekend.
The superstar helped fulfill the wish of 6-year-old Riley Weinberger by paying a visit to the Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Wellington, FL. The young girl made a video about the shelter and the rescued animals she helps care for as a volunteer at the rescue and wanted to share her passion with Miranda. She created the video and asked, “Please Miranda, we could save more dogs lives.”
Hours before her show, Lambert stopped by Big Dog Ranch and met Riley and her family. She fell in love with a puppy, who she adopted and named Bellamy, after the Bellamy Brothers. “Miranda was wonderful and very kind,” said Eric Weinberger, Riley’s father. He added that in addition to adopting a dog, Lambert also made a donation to the rescue.
