A corporate plane carrying Miranda Lambert and members of her team had to make an emergency landing Tuesday evening in Clarksville, WV. The superstar was on her way to Music City for the CMT Music Awards and the CMA Music Festival after making media rounds in New York City in support of her new album, Platinum.

According to The Tennessean, the plane, which left from NYC’s Teterboro Airport, lost pressure in-air and was diverted to North Central West Virginia Airport. Lambert’s publicist Wes Vause revealed that the plane spent about three hours on the ground before the flight resumed.

While at the airport in Clarksville, Lambert and her team spent time with firefighters and even tried on their “platinum” hazmat suits. Lambert shared the above photo on Instagram saying, “Our plane had an emergency landing in Clarksburg WV. But don’t worry, we found platinum fire suits. Yes!#platinum”

The plane made it to the Nashville area, landing at Smyrna airport, around 7pm CT.
